This is the table used in the kit "The Convent of St Teresa" by Red Lion Miniatures. The parts are laser cut for precision. All you have to do is assemble them according to the instructions and voila, a nice table!

Miniature Kits: The Workers
A lot of miniaturists who build kits from Red Lion Miniatures give feedback and like to send in pictures of their completed projects. We will display some of these photos in an upcoming post!
All Red Lion kits are in 1/12 or 1/24 scale (one inch or half inch scale.) Since most of the heavy lifting (ie, box construction) is already done for you, you get to focus on the stuff you enjoy: decorating, designing, and furnishing, weathering and aging. There are even options to avoid soldering, which on some kits is required.
Regardless which kit you build, you will find each step illustrated or photographed with exact measurements or a description of the process. There is always wiggle room for you to create your own look. Or follow along, and enjoy the steps illustrated with photos and diagrams acted out by the three workers.
Here they are enjoying some antics, which they often do during downtime on the set of the photo shoots.

Montresor: the kit in 1/12 scale
Montresor is a village located in central France. Down a quiet side street, past rustic shops and small cafes, you will find quaint houses built out of stone and overgrown with leaves.
This room box is approx. 16" x 10" x 11" deep. (40 x 25 x 27cm). The interior is for you to decorate as you desire.
You will use Paper Clay to create the brick and stone work, age and weather the window door, install ambient lighting, paint and weather all surfaces and use landscaping to create the effect shown.
These are pictures of the completed scene:
